FALL FUNDRAISER: October 21 – 30, 2024

This year’s theme, Nourishing Hope, calls us to respond to the pressing local, national, and global challenges we face by fostering hope where it’s needed most.  We invite you to take action and partner with HSHC in nourishing hope through Christ, making a tangible difference not only in the lives of the seminarians and clergy with whom we work, but also in the faith communities in which they serve.

Join us each day during our 10-day online campaign, where we will be sharing inspiring “recipes for hope” (quotes from a variety of people) and nutritious, nourishing food recipes!

Our gift to you: Everyone who makes a donation will be sent an e-booklet of all of our “Hope for the Holiday Table” food recipes and “recipes for hope” that are shared throughout the 10-day campaign.

Honor pastors, clergy persons, and/or seminarians through your donation!

October is National Pastor/Clergy Appreciation Month.  As part of our fundraising efforts, supporters have the opportunity again this year to make donations in memory or in honor of these ambassadors of hope.

  • Letters of acknowledgement: we will send a note (handwritten or emailed) to the person(s) being honored or to the family in memory of the person(s) letting them know of the donation.

  • Online donors – simply fill out the “in honor of/in memory of” section on the online giving form.

  • Donating by check?  If you would like your donation to be in honor or in memory of someone, you can EITHER:

    • Complete an online acknowledgement form here.

    • Fill in the PDF version of the form (then print and include the form with your check) here.

This free event will showcase holiday recipes accommodating common food sensitivities like gluten, dairy, and nuts, aiming to reduce meal-time stress and enhance holiday wellbeing.
